Deaths According to ...

Mr. Obama: 4,474 servicemembers have been killed in the Iraq War [most recent count].
Mr. Meles: 26 were killed in Addis Ababa in 2005 in the process of enforcing law and order and most casualties were self-inflicted [actual count: 197 unarmed citizens protesting stolen election; snipers were ordered by Meles himself].
Mr. Afewerki: What deaths? This is a joke. Did you hear us say that?
Mr. Bashir: It is possible there were deaths but it has not been reported to us yet.
Mr. Kagame: Yes, there were some deaths but the journalist who reported the incident was also killed.
Mr. Gaddafi [before his death]: No true son of Libya has been killed.
Mr. Museveni: We began investigating the story a week before it happened.
Mr. Mubarak [oops, we meant the Military Council]: These are not legal citizens and the police [oops, the military] were only trying to defend themselves.
